Irmo Special Needs home for Men
Opened in October 2024
Known as Stephen’s House
A second home near Irmo in the Coldstream subdivision was purchased by our ministry. The home, named Stephen’s House, offers a Christian home environment to four men with special needs and opened in October of 2024.
Stephen’s House is named in honor of Rev. Stephen Taylor, who was instrumental in the history and existence of Aldersgate Special Needs Ministry. He was a board and executive committee member for many years and continues to lovingly support the ministry. In addition, one of the rooms within the home has been named “The Poston Room” in honor of the Poston family, whose generous donation helped make the opening of the home possible.
